4K Steelbook Edition of The Last of Us Released with an Attractive Discount

This four-disc set lets you relive Joel and Ellie’s journey across the post-apocalyptic version of the US in 4K resolution. The collectible steelbook case, shown above, looks awesome. On the discs, you’ll find over two hours of special features.

At the time of writing (March 20), Amazon has the best price for The Last of Us Season 1’s Steelbook Edition. Walmart is charging a couple bucks more ($40.47), and $35 preorders at Gruv have been sold out for months. This edition sold out at Amazon and Walmart multiple times during the preorder window, and it’s unclear if it will receive another printing after available stock sells out.

If you don’t mind skipping out on the steelbook, it’s worth noting The Last of Us was already available on 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray. You’ll save eight bucks by opting for the standard edition 4K Blu-ray.
