Best Buy has a great deal on the recently released Meta Quest 3S VR headset as part of its 12 Days of Gaming promotion. Today only (December 17), you get a $75 Best Buy gift card with the purchase of the Quest 3S 256GB model. This deal is only available until tonight at 10 PM PT.
In addition to the $75 gift card, you’ll also get Meta’s pack-in freebies: The Quest 3S is bundled with Batman: Arkham Shadow, a new action game that’s exclusive to the Quest 3S and Quest 3, and three months of Quest+, which gets you six more free games to keep.

The Quest 3S shares a lot of hardware with its big brother, the Quest 3. It has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset and 8GB of RAM, and this model ships with a pair of Touch Pro controllers that you can use to interact with apps and games. The battery life on this model is also better–up to two-and-a-half hours from a full charge compared to the two hours on the Quest 3–but the compromises here include the use of the same 1832 x 1920 fresnel lenses found in the Quest 2, a narrower field of vision, and no depth sensor.
Still, the Quest 3S offers great value, even at full price, but when you throw a $75 Best Buy gift card into the equation–plus the free games from Meta–it’s a steal.
Quest+ is a subscription program that regularly costs $8/month. It features a rotating library of games to play for free, but the big draw is the two freebies subscribers get each month. The pair of free games will remain in your library even if you cancel your subscription.
PlayStation VR 2 is on sale for $250 off
It’s also worth noting the PlayStation VR 2 is on sale for a massive discount as part of PlayStation’s official holiday deals. Normally $600, you can get the PSVR 2 bundled with the gorgeous showpiece game Horizon Call of the Mountain for $349–a massive savings of $251. PSVR 2 is compatible with PlayStation 5 as well as PC–you’ll need an adapter to use it as a PC VR to play SteamVR games.
