Games releasing in 2025: The biggest & best new upcoming video games

Those aren’t the only highly anticipated sequels coming in 2025. Video game fans can also expect Ghost of Yotei, Elden Ring Nightreign, Death Stranding 2, Doom: The Dark Ages, Borderlands 4, the new Fable, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Monster Hunter Wilds, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and Slay the Spire 2. Beyond sequels, there are some other big bets on the calendar for 2025, like Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Judas, Riot’s fighting game 2XKO, and South of Midnight. Suffice it to say, it’s currently looking like a big year for new video game releases.

Game release dates are always in flux, though, so Polygon’s guide to the new video games coming in 2025 will be regularly updated with new titles, release dates, and (inevitable) delays.
