Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes you to the high seas, but you will also be subject to walking. Or not. The ever-helpful Street Surfer makes a comeback from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, allowing you to cruise around Honolulu, Hawaii at your own leisure.
Sadly, everything has its limits. As an electric ride, the Street Surfer will eventually run out of battery. This means manually heading to a charging unit and paying a fee to recharge it every now and then. Thankfully, there’s a way to mitigate the process. This guide will walk you through where to find battery packs for the Street Surfer in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Street Surfer Battery Pack Locations in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
In a similar fashion to Infinite Wealth, there are two battery packs available to find and purchase in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Both of them are located in Honolulu, Hawaii, so you don’t have to travel to Madlantis or any other main location to track them down.
It’ll likely take you a while to clear the “fog” on Honolulu’s map. If you just want to get to the locations quickly early on, you can see the exact spots to find battery packs for the Street Surfer in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii below.

- Location: Treasure Select Pawn (River St.)
- Name: Street Surfer Battery Pack B
- Price: $1,500
- How to get there: You can follow the Aloha Bridge east and then take a turn north via River St. If you’ve unlocked the taxi stop at Waikiki St., that’s also a good shortcut.

- Location: Treasure Select Pawn (Chinatown)
- Name: Street Surfer Battery Pack Y
- Price: $1,500
- How to get there: From Anaconda Blvd., continue heading west until you stumble upon Downtown St. Then, move toward Nirvana Hotel, which doesn’t have a ton going on, except for the pawn shop next to it. If you haven’t cleared the map yet, it might take you a second to stumble upon it.
Once you’re in either pawn shop, talk to the merchant NPC inside and purchase the battery packs. The upgrade will hit your Street Surfer automatically, so no extra steps needed. If you have some extra change, both stores offer a few cosmetic options to customize the vehicle.
