Pokémon TCG Pocket enthusiasts can mark Pokémon Day by opening three exclusive Genetic Apex rarity packs.

There’s even more Pokemon TCG Pocket news today following the Pokemon Presentation. Not only do we have Triumphant Light packs coming to the game tomorrow, players who boot up the game between now and April 29 will get three packs at zero cost.

These aren’t just any packs. These Genetic Apex packs are guaranteed to have at least one card of a four-diamond quality. That means you’re gonna get at least one EX Pokemon card, or an alternate art variant from each pack. Not bad for a free gift.

In addition, special missions will soon be added to the game to celebrate the occasion, though there’s no word on what exactly those missions are going to be. Best to check in later today and tomorrow when they’ll probably be released.

It just so happens that the official Pokemon TCG Pocket social media accounts has announced the game has been downloaded over 100 million users. That’s a huge number of players flocking to the game given how little time has passed since its release. This firmly places it in the same category of popularity as Pokemon Go, a game that took over the world when it first dropped.
