It has straightforward melee and ranged combat and an easy-to-follow gear and loot management system. Each game’s overworld grants players the freedom to explore. You’ll find new quests, dungeons, and loot during your travels. The series also has a lot of puns revolving around cats and dogs.
All three games received paw-sitive critic and user reviews. Over on GameSpot’s sister-site Metacritic, Cat Quest 3 has a “generally favorable” Metascore of 80 from 21 reviews. On Steam, the first two games have “Overwhelmingly Positive” user rating averages, and Cat Quest 3 sits at “Very Positive.”
