Xbox Wireless Controllers are now just $34.99 today, and in my opinion, they remain the top choice for PC gaming.

I think this is the best deal I’ve seen on a PC controller in a long time. Lenovo just dropped official Xbox wireless controllers (Series X|S variants) to Black Friday equivalent prices. Pulse Red and Shock Blue are going for $34.99 with the code SPRINGGAMES, while other colors like Carbon Black and Astral Purple are $39.99 with SPRINGBACK. These are some of the best gamepads for gaming on PC, and honestly, for a first-party controller that doesn’t feel like it was pulled from a bargain bin, it’s an absurdly good price as well.

I use an Xbox controller on PC daily and have zero regrets. It connects over Bluetooth like it’s been waiting its whole life for you to press that sync button, and if your PC doesn’t have Bluetooth, just plug in a USB-C cable and move on with your life. No drivers to download, no mapping to fiddle with, just instant compatibility with pretty much every game that actually matters.

If you ask me, nothing else beats Xbox’s gamepad for comfort and reliability. The triggers feel just right, the D-pad doesn’t fight back, and the textured grips actually make a difference when things get sweaty. That Share button is also great if you’re the type who screenshots everything from accidental trick shots to whatever weird bug just broke your save file.

I will be picking up a spare for backup soon, because I know the moment I don’t, the current one will get jammed under my chair or sacrificed to the cable gods. Also, the colors are great. Deep Pink? Electric Volt? These controllers have more personality than most NPCs I’ve talked to this year.

Some colors are already selling out, and I’m not shocked. I don’t see these dropping below $35 again anytime soon, which, like I said, is typically a Black Friday pricing. If you’ve been using a half-dead pad from 2012 or something that lights up like a rave and feels like cardboard, now’s your chance to upgrade without overthinking it.
