It took a few decades, but Gladiator finally received a sequel with last year’s Gladiator 2. It’s been an absolute success so far, pulling in over $450 million worldwide and earning solid reviews from critics. While the film recently released on Blu-ray, fans who want to add both movies to their collection should check out the Amazon-exclusive Gladiator 2-Movie Steelbook Collection, which will bundle 4K steelbook editions of both movies in a 6-disc collection available exclusively at Amazon. The $68 collection launches May 6, and preorders are available now.

This six-disc bundle gets you 4K, Blu-ray, and digital formats of both Gladiator and Gladiator 2, plus a selection of bonus features. Both films come in their own premium steelbook cases. Preordering at Amazon means you won’t pay until the collection has shipped, and if it’s discounted between now and launch, you’ll pay the lower price.

That’s a remarkable amount of bonus content between the two films, making this bundle an excellent way to learn more about the iconic movies.
While the upcoming 2-Movie Collection is a great way to pick up the 4K steelbook versions of Gladiator and Gladiator 2 in a single package, both releases are also available as standalone releases, and you can grab them now if you don’t want to wait for the collection. You’ll miss out on the collector’s box if you buy them separately, but otherwise, the standalone releases are essentially identical to the collection versions and even include the same steelbook cases and bonus features. Buying separately is a better deal at the moment since the Gladiator 4K steelbook is discounted to $26 at Amazon (normally $31), and if you pair it with the Gladiator 2 4K steelbook that’s available for $35, you’ll only pay $61 total, compared to preordering the $68 2-Movie Collection edition.
