Breaking: Hasbro Unveils Pricing and Launch Date for Exclusive 501st Trooper Helmet in Star Wars Day Celebration

This May 4th, GameStop is offering Star Wars fans the chance to add to their helmet collection with the Black Series 501st Clone Trooper Helmet. Fans attending Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Japan can get an up-close look at the helmet at Hasbro’s booth, Hall 1, 3-7, during show floor hours.

This helmet is designed to look like a clone trooper helmet from the Ahsoka live-action series on Disney+. You can see the battle scuff marks across the blue paint. Pressing the button on the side of the helmet activates a voice changer, which will make you sound like a clone trooper. It requires three 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included) and will retail for $100.

This isn’t the only collectible helmet that you can buy right now. If you’re looking to complete your collection of Mandalorians, Hasbro has also released replica Din Djarin, Boba Fett, and Sabine Wren helmets–or if you feel like taking a walk on the dark side, you can assemble your squad of the Empire’s finest with the Stormtrooper, Scout Trooper, and Shadow Trooper helmets.

There’s even a cool Darth Vader available, great for any cosplayer looking to dress up as the iconic Sith Lord and not have to worry about risking damaging one of their other pricey replicas. Hasbro also has some good-looking X-Wing helmets, with both Luke Skywalker and Carson Teva represented in this department. While the pricing does fluctuate between each collectible, generally these are all available for around $100-$135. They all have a similar level of high-quality construction, padding, and even electronic features on select models.

May 4 started as a punny holiday and eventually became Star Wars Day for fans to celebrate and grab more Star Wars merch for their collections. Lego will also debut several Star Wars sets this year, including a Chopper and all-new Brickheadz. There’s even a Jango Fett Spitfire ship set that will be a Lego store exclusive, available starting May 1.
