Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 – Get Your First Glimpse at the Upcoming Zombies Map

Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 arrives next month, and while we don’t know exactly when the next Zombies map will arrive to the game, the developer has teased a first look at the upcoming location.

In a recent Twitter post, Treyarch shared the image of a mansion. The caption included reads, “Personal log. Edward Richtofen recording…”

This tease backs up the recent leaks that suggested that Season 3’s map would take place inside Edward Richtofen’s Liberty Falls mansion. Richtofen was last seen in one of the initial launch trailers for Black Ops 6 Zombies, where we saw him inside the mansion and fighting off a horde of undead with Call of Duty’s iconic Wunderwaffe DG-2 Wonder Weapon. He mysteriously disappeared near the end of the trailer, seemingly being abducted and teleported by Dark Aether energy.

All of the Zombies maps so far have focused on the Zombies crew hunting down Richtofen, so hopefully, the crew’s exploration of the mansion will reveal personal audio logs to provide more of his side of the story.

Dataminers suggest the map will include the return of classic perks and field upgrades. The claims include Double Tap and Tombstone as two new perks, and Frost Blast and Shatter Blast are suggested as the field upgrades. Call of Duty Season 3 arrives on April 3. Black Ops 6’s Zombies maps usually arrive at the start of the season, but with all the hype around Warzone’s OG map returning, it’s possible the Zombies content will be saved for the midseason “Reloaded” update.
