Dark City premiered in 1998, and it quickly became a cult classic sci-fi film. Along with earning a Hugo Award nomination for Best Dramatic Presentation, it’s said to have influenced The Matrix, which released a year later. The tech noir movie is now getting a long-awaited 4K release, with the Dark City 4K Limited Edition arriving on June 24. Preorders are now open at Amazon, and since it’s currently ranked as the best-selling sci-fi film at Amazon, consider reserving a copy before this Limited Edition sells out.

This collection gets you a 4K version of both the director’s cut and theatrical cut of the film. It also supports HDR for more vibrant colors and Dolby Atmos for enhanced sound quality. As a bonus, you’ll get the following:
