How to swim underwater in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Once you have the snorkel, to swim underwater, all you need to do is jump into any body of water that’s not a shallow pool. Once you’re there, a set of icons will pop up on the right-hand side of the screen that show the controls for how to dive.

We used a controller to play. The right control stick allows you to navigate the elevation or depth of your character, while the left control stick allows you to move it from side to side. (For PC players, the Ctrl and Shift buttons move the character up and down and you can use the arrowpad to move side to side.)

Once you dive down, you’ll have a limited amount of time to explore before you have to return for air. The amount of time you can stay underwater is controlled by your stamina bar. Once it depletes, your character will return to the surface of the water. It restricts how deep you can dive but it doesn’t hurt your character.
