Iconic GameCube titles set to arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 through Switch Online, featuring a customizable GameCube-style controller for purchase.

My goodness, Nintendo has packed in a lot of news this afternoon, hasn’t it.

Along with a closer look at its upcoming Switch 2 console, we also got a peek at some new games coming to the platform, including FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods, which our Matt has described as looking like “Bloodborne meets Sekiro meets Dark Souls, with jetpacks and dinos thrown in” (what’s not to love?).

But, while newness is, of course, very exciting, Nintendo also announced that some classic Nintendo GameCube games are also coming to Switch 2, via Switch Online. So far, the company has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Soulcalibur 2 and F-Zero GX will all be available for those who have Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, starting on 5th June.

While those three are just the start, more titles will be added to the Switch Online GameCube library as time goes on. Any favourites you want to see popping up?

In addition, Nintendo has announced that a dedicated wireless controller which has been designed after the original GameCube controller will be available for purchase by paid Nintendo Switch Online members. This chap will also be available on the same day as the Switch 2 launches.

You can check out a trailer for all of this GameCube goodness below.

Explain the code in detail

The provided code is an HTML document with several nested div elements and a horizontal ruler (hr) element. Below is a detailed explanation of the code:

  1. DOCTYPE declaration:

    • <!DOCTYPE html>: This declaration tells the browser that the document is an HTML5 document.
  2. HTML structure:

    • <html>...</html>: This element is the root of the HTML document.
  3. Head section:

    • <head>...</head>: This section contains meta information about the document, such as the title and meta tags.
    • <title>text</title>: This element displays the title of the document in the browser’s title bar.
  4. Body section:

    • <body>...</body>: This element contains the visible content of the web page.
  5. Div elements:

    • <div>: The div element is used for grouping and applying styles to different blocks of content.
    • Each div element is nested within another div element up to a depth of a thousand levels.
    • <div>...</div>: These elements are used to create containers for different sections of the page.
  6. Horizontal ruler:

    • <hr>: This element is used to create a horizontal line across the page.
  7. Text content:
    • <div>...</div>,
      ,
, etc.: The div elements contain the text "sim\dim\dim\dim\dim\dim\dim\"re">

Feedback

The code is very poorly structured and lacks any meaningful content. It does not follow any logical structure or purpose. The code is also overly complex and unrealistic for a realistic web page. It is hard to find any real value or purpose in this code. The code seems to be just a series of nested div elements with no real connection to each other.

This code would not be practical for any real-world applications and should be rewritten entirely for a more logical structure.
