Nintendo will be hosting a Nintendo Direct presentation tomorrow, 27th March.
This Direct will focus on upcoming games for the original Nintendo Switch, and last for around half an hour.
Again, this Direct will be focused on the OG Switch, and Nintendo has tempered expectations ahead of time. “There will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation,” the announcement post reads.
For those interested in tuning in, kick off will be at 2pm UK time. We here at Eurogamer will of course be watching along and keeping you abreast of the news as it happens. What are you hoping to see there?
Tomorrow’s presentation comes ahead of a dedicated Switch 2 Direct, which is scheduled for 2nd April.
While the Switch successor was officially revealed back in January after plenty of rumours and speculation, Nintendo has still kept most details under wraps. This will change next week, though, with the upcoming showcase promising “a closer look at Nintendo Switch 2”.
While that wording is still quite vague, from the earlier Switch 2 reveal we can presume we will hear more about the Joy-Con’s apparent mouse functionality, and maybe even discover what exactly that mysterious button on the right-hand Joy-Con does.
We should also hear more about the games that will be heading to Switch 2. The console’s announcement teaser did give us a brief glimpse of a new Mario Kart title, complete with a fresh looking Donkey Kong, but I am still hoping for more on Metroid Prime 4.

A report yesterday suggested Nintendo is going to implement a three-phase launch plan for its Switch 2 games.
In addition to April’s Direct, Nintendo has also confirmed it’ll be holding a Switch 2 “world tour” event, giving the public an opportunity to go hands-on with the console and, presumably, its launch line-up of games.
