Two of the wildest Friday the 13th movies, Jason X and Jason Goes to Hell, are getting 4K Limited Edition releases on May 20. Both look like premium additions to any horror fan’s home theater, as they come bundled with heaps of bonus features and some cool collectible goodies. Preorders are now open at Amazon, and reserving a copy in advance means you won’t pay until your item has shipped, and if the price on either Blu-ray drops between now and release, you’ll only pay the lowest price.

In the far future of 2455, humans have left Earth and colonized other planets. A scientific expedition returns to humanity’s home planet and finds Jason’s body cryogenically frozen, but he wakes up an wreaks havoc on the crew. Along with a 4K version of the film with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, it also features the original lossless stereo and DTS-HD 5.1 surround audio options. You’ll also get collectibles like a reversible sleeve featuring original and new artwork from Gary Pullin, plus a double-sided foldout poster and illustrated collector’s booklet. After dying and being taken to the morgue, Jason somehow manages to claw his way back from death to possess the body of the coroner working on his autopsy. It’s another intense horror flick, and this upcoming 4K Limited Edition is bound to be one of the best ways to experience it on modern TVs. This release includes the theatrical and unrated cuts of the movie, both presented in 4K with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support, plus options for lossless stereo and DTS-HD 5.1 surround sound.
