Terrifier movies have been… well, terrifying fans for close to a decade now, ever since the original hit theaters in 2016. The horror franchise is now officially making the jump to the world of video games with Terrifier: The Artcade Game releasing for PS5, Switch, and PC on October 17. If you want something gruesome to play during Halloween and the spooky season, consider locking in your preorder ahead of its launch. Two versions are up for grabs–one of which is loaded with collectibles and is the ideal choice for long-time fans of the film.
Terrifier: The Artcade Game Preorder Bonuses

It’s quite affordable at $40, though the Limited Edition might be a better option for dedicated fans, as it gets you a heap of collectibles. Digital copies should soon be available on PSN, Switch eShop, and Steam, while physical versions for PS5 and Switch can already be found at Amazon.

Terrifier: The Artcade Game is a retro beat ’em up that supports up to four players. You’ll get to wield an arsenal of deadly weapons as you carve through enemies, navigate various obstacles, and take down a variety of challenging bosses. Six different game modes are available–meaning there’s always something new to explore. Pulling it all together is a chiptune soundtrack that helps set the chilling atmosphere for each stage.
Since Terrifier: The Artcade Game doesn’t arrive until October, consider using this extra time to catch up on the franchise. A bunch of Blu-rays and steelbooks are available at a discount right now, so if you have any gaps in your collection, this is a great time to fill them in.
