The New Fanatical Bundle Features a Collection of Highly-Praised Indie Games, Each Under $3

Fanatical has launched a new Platinum Bundle deal, and if you’re looking to stock up on some quirky PC games to play on your desktop or your Steam Deck, there are some great titles to choose from here. Like other Build Your Own bundles from Fanatical, pricing is tiered, and the more games you add, the lower each game key costs. The bundle starts at three or more games for $3.33 per key, five or more games for $3 per key, or seven or more games for $2.85 each. There’s no limit on how many you can add to your bundle, and the majority of them are Steam Deck Verified or Steam Deck Playable.

One of the big highlights on this curated list is Turnip Boy Robs A Bank, a fun roguelite and a direct sequel to Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. While the game looks adorable with its anthropomorphic vegetable characters, it’s actually a hilarious and dark tale of crime and revenge set in a post-apocalyptic world where veggies have risen to become the dominant lifeform following the extinction of humanity. As for the gameplay, this is a fun jaunt through a bank as you blast your way past security and steadily upgrade Turnip Boy’s arsenal.

The other great game on this list is SteamWorld Build, which takes place in the cowboy robot Steampunk universe. This time, the focus is on building a new home, mining the land beneath you, and increasing efficiency. SteamWorld games are generally fun adventures, and this one is a fun mix of resource management and spatial planning.

On the other side of the quality spectrum, you’ll probably want to steer clear of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. The game is infamous for being a buggy mess, and while some post-launch work was done to fix it up, it’s still a bland and uninteresting spin on JRR Tolkien’s source material.
