Xbox Game Pass Expands with Additional Free-to-Play Games for Members

Xbox Game Pass owners have had access to special perks for select free-to-play games, including League of Legends, Genshin Impact, and Overwatch 2. Today, Xbox has announced that a few more F2P titles will be sweetening the pot with free in-game cosmetics, currency, and more for the Game Pass faithful.

Four games–Heroes Of The Storm, Naraka: Bladepoint, Smite 2, and The Finals–will now offer extra benefits on both console and PC to those who link their Xbox accounts to each game. The official Xbox Wire post also confirms that even more titles will be added to the perk list in April, with Call of Duty: Warzone, Enlisted, Asphalt Legends Unite, and War Thunder specifically named.

The extra benefits coming today to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on consoles and PC are as follows:

  • Heroes Of The Storm
    • Unlock 30 heroes by linking a Battle.Net account to the Xbox Game Pass account
  • Naraka: Bladepoint
    • Logging in with an Xbox account will unlock all heroes, special Xbox-themed headwear, and the Phoenix Princess pack.
  • Smite 2
    • Linking an Xbox account will unlock a Smite 2 Welcome Pack, which includes five playable Gods, a new skin for Hecate, an emote, and a title.
  • The Finals
    • Linking an Embark ID to the Xbox account will unlock the Stryker Grid Set–which includes an outfit, three weapon skins, a charm, and a 25 percent boost to Match XP–as well as 500 Multibucks.

Among the F2P perks already offered through Xbox Game Pass are instant unlocks for all 160+ champions in League Of Legends, the Wings of Fate’s Course Intertwined gift in Genshin Impact, and all agents unlocked–as well as day-one access to new agents–in Valorant.

Xbox Game Pass subscriptions include a library of dozens of games across Xbox and PC for as low as $11 a month. Recent additions to the service include 33 Immortals, Blizzard Arcade Collection, Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, and Octopath Traveler II, while Atomfall is slated to join the service when it launches on March 27.
